Salcedo Market

Salcedo Market is located at the heart of Bel-Air in Makati City. It is open every Saturdays only from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It is where all goods from the different regions of the country are found. There are also foods from the different countries like Thailand, Vietnam, China, Malaysia, Indian, Moroccan, among many others.

My favorites in this market are the Turkish Baklavas. They are mouth watering and soo deliciously prepared by a Turkish chef... I also love the fresh calamansi juice or the sugarcane juice.

It is in this market that some celebrities and politicians are seen marketing for fresh lobsters, prawns and crabs.

3rd Scott Kelby Worldwide Photowalk

Tilak Hettige was the Walk Leader at the Bonifacio High Street Area in Makati City up to the Manila American Memorial Park. Twas fun but a very hot ordeal.


The event started with the registration. Breakfast was at Starbucks for those who want. A Group Photo was taken by the Walk Leader himself after a short briefing.

There were not much of interest during the photowalk, except for the tall buildings in the Global City and the geometrical patterns at the Manila American Cemetery. My primary interests are people. I have a photo of the billboard makers and the painter...

The walk ended with a lunch at Joey's Pepperoni Pizzeria. We earned friends and had some bonding moments with some classmates in Tilak's previous workshops.

Inner Vision Class 1

The Inner Vision Class 1 which is uniquely designed by the Master Tilak Hettige is one of the best Photography Workshop for enthusiasts who want to explore their inner senses.

I attended this Special Class at the Philippine Center for Creative Imaging (PCCI) from 16 July 2010 up to the 18th. After the seminar workshop, we were given specific assignments to put into reality what we have learned. On the 23rd of July, we presented our production.

PAF Supply Accountable Officers' Seminar

The Supply Accountable Officers of the Philippine Air Force had a refresher seminar at the Little Theater of the PAF Museum last 22 and 23 July 2010. It was all about some new policies and old policies of the New Government Accounting System. Colonel Arnold A Mancita PAF (GSC) gave the Opening remarks while Major General Cipriano Gundao Jr AFP, was the keynote speaker. Lecturers were invited from various agencies for this purpose. All the PAF Supply Accountable Officers from LUZON, VISAYAS and MINDANAO were present. The seminar ended up so well with ample enlightenment on some issues which are considered on gray areas.
